Today's offering showcases this beautiful and rare Crown Collection ref. 69238 President with diamond encrusted lugs. It is a true gem in very near new-old-stock condition. It looks to have been worn only a few times before being safely stored in its box. Unlike most pre-owned pieces that present well that have been refurbished to present as nicely as they do, this one has been stored for so long the gold has developed a patina. We left it on, but it could easily be removed.
We lightly touched up two pin prick marks on the left side of the case. Other than that the watch is just as it left the factory. The original sticker on the back has never been removed.
To give perspective, we have sold new Rolex's taken from Rolex authorized dealer's showcases whose case and bracelet showed more handling wear than what is found on this one.
It is a "W" serial sold in February of 2000. It continues to keep as new time in five chronometer testing positions.
Accompanying it are its original certificate, books, boxes, two tags, wallet and original sales receipt - a complete set.
